Years ago, copyright was 28 years, patent was 17 years. Each could be renewed under certain circumstances. Last I heard, copyright is 50 years. If this trend continues, I guess we are looking at a sort of Neo Dark Ages. The US already has censored news media. The powers that be seem to want to wring every last cent out of people even as they take more and more freedoms and choices away. I have loved OTR since I was a kid in the 1940's. Now they are taking my precious memories away from me. How long will even the internet survive?

I HAD dubs of the Shadow from some LPs called GoldenAgeofRadio, found em at the local library when I was a kid & before digitalization began. the cassettes I made(Durante,FredAllen, theShadow, etc.) & the LPs are long gone, I guess; but only live performances & personal witness of it last forever, even if the GOV arrests & pardons such behaviour later(eg:Jim Morrison,BillytheKid)see the scenario?original, bootleg, illegal, the cash IS US currency provided by the GOV, the SOUL is not.modeled much the same, the Lord giveth the Lord shall taketh away.
